Virgin Australia Airlines will begin dedicated direct flights twice a week from Brisbane to Alice Springs return starting from 19 June. The Maria Island Walk is a fully guided three-night, four-day experience into one of Australia’s most spectacular destinations. Small groups (a maximum of ten guests and two guides) wind their way through beaches, rainforest and mountains, taking in the dramatic sea cliffs of Fossil Bay, the peaks of Mt Maria or Bishop and Clerk and the largest stand of giant Tasmanian blue gums. Accommodation is in specially designed wilderness camps with the final night at the colonial Bernacchi House at the Darlington convict site.

As a walking adventure that has been millions of years in the making, the new Scenic Rim Trail by Spicers is truly a one of a kind experience.
The revised itinerary is now a three day, three night walk, led by expert guides through the dramatic high country of Queensland, taking in trails rich with history and majestic views.
Hiking between 6.5km-15km per day, walking highlights include the summits of Mt Mitchell and Spicers Peak, glimpsing rare and endangered flora and fauna as well as exploring the cool depths of the rainforest aside Millavale Creek.
